Trans Day of Visibility honors the resilience, achievements, and ongoing struggles of the trans community, emphasizing the importance of visibility in the fight for equality. Across Philadelphia, organizations are marking the occasion with events that celebrate trans artistry, amplify activist voices and build community support. From vendor markets and fashion shows to rallies, panel discussions and flag-raising ceremonies, these gatherings offer spaces for reflection, resistance and celebration. Whether attending in person or virtually, community members and allies are invited to stand in solidarity and uplift trans lives.

William Way LGBT Community Center will celebrate Trans Day of Visibility with an indoor vendor market showcasing a diverse lineup of trans makers, artists and creatives. Heathens Against Hate rally

Heathens Against Hate will host a Trans Day of Visibility rally celebrating trans existence and resistance. As efforts to erase trans people persist, this gathering serves as a reminder that the community has always been here and always will be. Supportive allies are welcome. TMAN, a grassroots organization supporting Black trans men and trans men of color in Philadelphia since 2006, will host a virtual event where speakers, organizers and elders discuss the history of Black trans activism, the impact of policing, economic justice and the need for resources. Trans Day Of Visibility Flag-Raising Ceremony

The Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs will host its annual Transgender Day of Visibility flag-raising event on Monday, March 31, at 12 p.m. This year’s theme, “TRANScending Barriers. TRANSforming Futures,” highlights the economic challenges and successes of trans Philadelphians. The event features speakers and performers from Philadelphia’s trans community, culminating in the raising of the transgender pride flag as a symbol of visibility and equality. Fellowship: A Trans Day Of Visibility Fundraiser and Celebration

Galaei will host a happy hour fundraiser celebrating trans visibility, providing a space for networking, resources and community connection. Open to attendees 21+ with valid ID, the event features an open mic hosted by Icon Ebony-Fierce, welcoming poetry, drag, singing, dancing and words of affirmation.
