You only support Trump if you simply moan

Let me finally address something that’s been on my mind since the election: We need to stop lamenting the results that returned Donald Trump to the White House and start thinking strategically. So, what does that mean?

If you watched the inauguration on Monday, you saw a bleak vision of America. If you paid attention to his actions on day one, you might feel threatened and fearful — an anti-trans executive order, pardons for violent criminals, and more. But make no mistake — this is exactly what Trump and his supporters want. They thrive on fear because fear is their tool of control. It’s how autocrats and terrorists operate, and it’s how they push changes none of us want.

If we spend our energy merely complaining about Trump’s actions, we become paralyzed. And when we’re paralyzed, they face no opposition, allowing them to steamroll their agenda unchecked. So, what can we do?

The answer is: A LOT. Here’s the reality — every executive order or policy move by this administration will face resistance. Organizations like Lambda Legal and the ACLU have already stepped up, filing lawsuits that will delay and obstruct much of what Trump aims to implement.

So, here’s what you can do:

  • Donate to organizations leading the legal fight.
  • Volunteer with groups that will be on the frontlines, defending our rights and freedoms.
  • Join organizations that this administration will directly target.
  • But most importantly, use your voice. The Constitution and our founders gave us the right to speak out — now is the time to do so loudly, clearly and fearlessly.

This is not the time for silence or despair. It’s the time for action.
