Out TV personality Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly going to be filming a live segment in Philadelphia this week.
DeGeneres tweeted Monday night that she planned to “shut down a couple blocks of Walnut St. in Philly” on Wednesday, inviting fans to turn out. On Tuesday, she tweeted that she was sending a crew to Walnut Street for a live shot on her show; it doesn’t appear that the host herself will be in town. The event is set to take place around 17th and Walnut streets, with set-up beginning at noon. “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” airs at 3 p.m. on NBC.
