INCIDENTS
— There were two thefts of bicycles reported Oct. 10-16: in the 1300 block of Locust Street and the 1300 block of Sansom St.
— There was one automobile reported stolen Oct. 10-16: outside 1300 Spruce St.
— There was one theft from a vehicle reported Oct. 10-16: in the 1000 block of Pine Street.
NON-SUMMARY ARRESTS
— At 1:48 a.m. Oct. 15, Sixth District Officer Washington responded to the 1000 block of Pine Street for a report of a robbery at gunpoint. He was also approached by other complainants who stated they were robbed by similarly described offenders in the 400 block of South 12th Street and 400 block of South Juniper Street. Using the Find My iPhone app, Washington tracked one victim’s phone to the 1300 block of Lombard Street. Officers Wissman from the Ninth District and Pereborow from Center City District stopped a suspect in the 500 block of South Broad Street. The victims from all three robberies positively identified the 21-year-old man as one of the people who robbed them. The officers also recovered a backpack that contained a firearm and the items stolen from the victims.
— At 2:40 a.m. Oct. 16, Sixth District Officer Thornton arrested a 24-year-old man in the 1300 block of Drury Street for possession of narcotics (cocaine).
— At 1:30 p.m. Oct. 16, Sixth District Officers Erwin and Sliner arrested a 22-year-old man for burglary in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street. He also allegedly had heroin in his possession.
SUMMARY ARRESTS
— At 12:55 a.m. Oct. 10, Sixth District Officer Coupas issued a summary citation to a 53-year-old man for drinking from an open container of alcohol in the 200 block of South 13th Street.
— At 12:30 a.m. Oct. 16, Sixth District Officer Thornton issued summary citations to two 25-year-old males for drinking from open containers of alcohol in the 1300 block of Drury Street.
