The virtual, literal and existential insanity, turmoil and heat that was the summer of 2016 is winding down, giving way to the glorious kaleidoscopic visuals and cooling temperatures of fall. Oh, and even though it feels like we just got done with the DNC and its takeover of Philly, there are still a few more months of intense political circus antics we have to wade through until the election.
Yeah, does anybody else need a stiff drink right about now?
But on the bright side of the arts and entertainment front, the gigantic summer outdoor concerts are sliding out of the picture in favor of more manageable indoor shows. Philly is getting fired up for new seasons of highly anticipated plays, stage shows, concerts and arts festivals that are ready to brighten the upcoming darkening days.
So start pulling you fanciest fall duds out of the recesses of your closets and get ready for some top-notch entertainment this autumn.
