Creating Change, the annual conference hosted by the National LGBTQ Task Force, today announced the four co-chairs of the 2017 event in Philadelphia.
They are:
- Naiymah Sanchez, coordinator of the Trans-Health Information Project at GALAEI: A Queer Latin@ Social Justice Organization
- Aneesah Smith, who works with LGBTQA services at West Chester University
- Le Thomas, president of Philadelphia Black Pride
- Samantha Giusti, executive director of DVLF, an LGBT philanthropy organization.
Each co-chair will oversee four subcommittees covering everything from fundraising and programming to local outreach and hospitality.
The launch meeting for the host committee takes place from 6-8:30 p.m. May 23 at the William Way LGBT Community Center, 1315 Spruce St. Attendees will join working subcommittees at that time.
