INCIDENTS
— At 11 a.m. Dec. 8, two men stole sneakers from Rackets R Us, 130 S. 12th St. They were both described as black, with one man about 180 pounds and wearing a black coat and jeans, and the other about 160 pounds and wearing a red coat and jeans.
— At 5:36 p.m. Dec. 8, someone stole a woman’s wallet from her pocket while she was in Sweet Green, 1002 Walnut St. The suspect was described as a black man in his mid-30s, about 5-foot-8, with a mustache and dark complexion and wearing a camo-green hoodie, pink UnderArmor, large square glasses and tan pants.
— Between 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 9, someone stole a wallet from a room at the Marriott Hotel, 1201 Market St. No forced entry was reported.
— There were two thefts from parked vehicles reported Dec. 7-13: outside 1306 Locust St. and 143 S. Ninth St.
— There were two thefts of bicycles reported Dec. 7-13: outside 1000 Chestnut St. and 1000 Walnut St.
NON-SUMMARY ARRESTS
— At 11 a.m. Dec. 9, a man held up the TD Bank at 111 S. 11th St. He fled with money and a tracker device and was tracked to the area of 15th Street and Montgomery Avenue, where he was apprehended and the money was recovered. The 25-year-old suspect with a New York City address was charged with bank robbery and related offenses.
— At 8:15 p.m. Dec. 9, Sixth District Officers Ferrero and Grant arrested a man outside 1300 Locust St. who was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court. The 45-year-old suspect with a Southwest Philadelphia address was charged with contempt of court.
— At 1:15 p.m. Dec. 10, based on information from an advertisement, members of the Citywide Vice Unit conducted an investigation on the second floor of 813 Sansom St. and made two arrests for prostitution.
— At 9:35 p.m. Dec. 10, Sixth District bike-patrol Officers Henry and Stevens observed a man behind the wheel of a car in the 200 block of South 12th Street drinking from a bottle of rum. The operator was found to be intoxicated and taken into custody. The 53-year-old man with a Germantown address was charged with DUI.
— At 9:45 p.m. Dec. 10, members of the Citywide Vice Unit conducted undercover operations in the area and made an arrest for prostitution outside Juniper and Locust streets.
— At 11:15 a.m. Dec. 12, Sixth District plainclothes officers observed an illegal narcotics sale outside 901 Market St. They arrested a 62-year-old suspect with a Logan address for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and a 70-year-old suspect with a Feltonville address for buying a controlled substance.
SUMMARY ARRESTS
— On Dec. 8, Sixth District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 3:30 p.m. outside 200 S. Juniper St. and 9:45 p.m. outside 1200 Chancellor St.
— At 8:30 p.m. Dec. 9, Sixth District officers issued two citations for summary offenses outside 1300 Locust St.
— On Dec. 10, Sixth District officers issued two citations for summary offenses at 8:15 p.m. outside 1300 Locust St. and one at 10:05 p.m. outside 201 S. Broad St.
