The following incidents in the Midtown Village and Washington Square West areas were reported to the 6th Police District between May 27-June 2. Information is courtesy of 6th District Capt. INCIDENTS — Between 7-9 p.m. May 27, someone stole a secured bicycle from outside 1100 Walnut St. — At 10:35 p.m. May 30, while dining in El Vez, 121 S. 13th St., a customer became irate and threw a water glass, striking a companion in the face and causing a laceration. The suspect was not on location upon police arrival, but has been identified to Central Detectives to obtain an arrest warrant. — Between 8:30 p.m. May 30 and 6:15 a.m. May 31, someone stole a brass knocker from the door of a residence in the 1000 block of Clinton Street. — Between 8 p.m. May 30 and 11:40 a.m. June 1, someone stole a brass knocker from the door of a residence in the 400 block of South 10th Street. — Between 9 p.m. June 1 and 1:30 a.m. June 2, a guest at the Loews Hotel, 1200 Market St., reported a wallet missing from his room. No forced entry was detected. — At 1:30 a.m. June 2 at Woody’s Bar, 202 S. 13th St., a woman was in the restroom when another woman kicked open the stall door, punched her and stole a debit card. Security escorted both women out of the bar. A witness informed the staff what occurred, and police were called but the suspect had already left the scene. She was described as an Asian female in her 20s, 5-foot-4, 130 pounds, wearing a black dress with blue floral print. — Between 11:30 p.m. June 1 and 2:45 a.m. June 2, someone stole a handbag from a 2010 Mazda that was parked in the 1100 block of Walnut Street. There was no forced entry and no fingerprints were lifted. — At 10:22 p.m. June 2, someone attempted to cut a lock from a bicycle in the 900 block of Chestnut Street. The suspect was described as a white male between 30-40, 6-feet tall, with a medium build and wearing a gray shirt and cargo shorts.

NON-SUMMARY ARRESTS — At 1:40 p.m. May 29, Center City District Officers Pagan and Pereborow arrested a 73-year-old male with a Francisville address for failure to pay for his meal at Spice 28 Restaurant, 1228 Chestnut St. — At 6:30 p.m. May 30, 6th District Officers Ferrero and Hill arrested a male outside 1200 Locust St. for a summary offense and found him to be in possession of crack and marijuana. The 42-year-old suspect with a South Philadelphia address was charged with possession of narcotics. — At 6:40 p.m. May 31, a woman was in the subway concourse at 1200 Market St. when she argued with her boyfriend and he punched her and took $40 from her hand. SEPTA police responded to screams and arrested a 40-year-old suspect. The West Philadelphia man was charged with robbery and related offenses. — At 10:20 p.m. May 31, 6th District Officers Ferrero and Hill arrested a male outside 200 S. 13th St. who was wanted on a bench warrant for failure to appear for court. The 21-year-old suspect with a Frankford address was charged with contempt of court.

SUMMARY ARRESTS — At 3:15 a.m. May 27, 6th District officers issued a citation for a summary offense outside 1201 Lombard St. — At 10:50 p.m. May 29, 6th District officers issued a citation for a summary offense outside 200 S. 13th St. — On May 30, 6th District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 12:15 a.m. outside 1200 Chancellor St., at 12:40 a.m. outside 1200 Locust St. and at 10:20 p.m. outside 100 S. 13th St. Center City District officers issued citations at 11:10 a.m. outside 135 S. Broad St. and at 11:20 a.m. outside 1399 Chestnut St. — On May 31, 6th District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 3:05 p.m. outside 1200 Latimer St. and at 9:05 p.m. and 10:55 p.m. outside 1320 Walnut St. — On June 1, 6th District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 9:55 p.m. outside 1222 Locust St. and at 9:05 p.m. and 10:55 p.m. outside 1320 Walnut St.
