INCIDENTS
— Between 8 p.m. Feb. 17 and 7 a.m. Feb. 18, someone smashed the window of a 2002 Jeep that was parked in the paid garage at 1201 Walnut St. and stole a laptop. The window was replaced and the vehicle was cleaned before police were called. — Between 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Feb. 19, someone pried open the door of an apartment in the 1200 block of Walnut Street and stole laptops and a Kindle. Sixth District Officer DeLuca lifted fingerprints. — At 12:15 a.m. Feb. 21, two men, one with a handgun, accosted a male outside 122 S. 11th St. and stole his Android cell phone. The suspects were black males in their 20s. One 5-foot-9, 140 pounds, wearing a gray hoodie, and the other was 6 feet, 150 pounds, wearing a black hoodie. — Between 11 p.m. Feb. 21 and 8 a.m. Feb. 22, someone smashed the window of a 2010 Volkswagen in the 1000 block of Spruce Street and stole a GPS. Weather conditions didn’t allow for fingerprints to be lifted. — Between 9 a.m.-12:40 p.m. Feb. 23, someone entered an unlocked 2001 Ford parked in the 800 block of Spruce Street and stole a laptop, a cell phone and earrings. The report was made after the victim drove home, and no fingerprints were lifted.
NON-SUMMARY ARRESTS
— At 8 p.m. Feb. 20, a valet manager was counting money outside a restaurant at 1337 Chestnut St. when a male asked for a dollar. The manager refused and the man put his hand in his pocket, simulating a weapon. The manager again refused, and the man fled. At 11:30 p.m., an officer detained a man who fit the description at 18th and Sansom streets, and the manager identified him. The 36-year-old suspect with a Southwest Philadelphia address was charged with robbery and related offenses. — At 12:45 p.m. Feb. 24, a 6th District officer observed a male in a lewd act in front of 1111 Market St. The 39-year-old homeless suspect was arrested and charged with open lewdness and related offenses. SUMMARY ARRESTS
— On Feb. 19, 6th District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 8:15 p.m. outside 1300 Locust St. and at 8:30 p.m. outside 1200 Walnut St. — On Feb. 20, 6th District officers issued two citations for summary offenses at 11:05 a.m. outside 200 S. Juniper St. and a citation for a summary offense at 11 p.m. outside 1200 Locust St. — At 11 a.m. Feb. 21, 6th District officers issued a citation for a summary offense outside 1317 Walnut St. — On Feb. 23, 6th District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 2:45 a.m. outside 1229 Chestnut St., 11 a.m. outside 1317 Walnut St. and 12:35 p.m. inside 1000 Market St. — On Feb. 24, 6th District officers issued a citation for a summary offense at 1:55 a.m. outside 242 S. 13th St.
