INCIDENTS — Between 8:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Nov. 27, someone removed the deadbolt lock from an apartment in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street and stole a laptop, iPad and a watch. Sixth District Officer Minnis lifted fingerprints from the scene. On Nov. 30, another unit was discovered with a forced door. Someone entered this unit between 2:30 p.m. Nov. 17 and midnight Nov. 30 and stole a laptop, iPod and jewelry. Sixth District Officer Colon lifted fingerprints. — At 7:15 p.m. Nov. 27, two males were inside the Last Drop Coffee Shop, 1300 Pine St., when one pulled a handgun and announced a hold-up. Everyone inside was, one by one, told to give up their cell phones and laptops. When the sixth person was told to comply, he instead struck one of the males in the head with a glass. They fled on foot, going west on Pine Street. The suspects were described as black males, both 18-25. One was 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-1, 160 pounds, with scruffy facial hair, wearing a fitted blue puffy jacket and tan pants. The second was 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-3, 160-170 pounds, wearing a dark hoodie and jeans. The scene was processed for evidence and fingerprints by Central Detective Division. — Between 11 p.m. Nov. 28 and 10 a.m. Nov. 29, someone smashed the window of a 2008 Ford, parked in the 800 block of Pine Street, and stole a GPS. — Between 4-10:45 p.m. Nov. 29, someone stole a secured bicycle from outside 401 S. Broad St. — On Nov. 30, someone stole two iPads from Spring Board Media, 116 S. 13th St. Security video showed the suspects to be two black males. One was about 26, 5-foot-8, wearing a black vest and black hat; the other was about 26, 5-foot-9, wearing a gray jacket and jeans. — At 5 a.m. Nov. 30, SEPTA Police took a report of a male who was accosted in the subway concourse, at Broad and Locust streets, by two males who took his bicycle. The suspects were described as black males. The first was about 40, 5-foot-7, with a light complexion, and the second was also about 40, 5-foot-9, with a dark complexion and a beard. — At 6:50 p.m. Nov. 30, someone stole an iPhone from a woman’s hand as she was walking in the 1000 block of Lombard Street. The suspect was described as a black male. — Between 7 p.m. Nov. 17 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 1, someone stole a rear spoiler from a 2009 Honda that was parked in the 400 block of South 12th Street. — Between 12:30-5:20 p.m. Dec. 2, someone entered an apartment in the 1300 block of Lombard Street without force and stole laptops, jewelry and cash. Sixth District Officer Maiorano was unable to lift fingerprints. — At 3 p.m. Dec. 1, someone stole a secured bicycle from outside 1000 Chestnut St.
NON-SUMMARY ARRESTS — At 5:05 p.m. Nov. 29, 6th District Officers Solis and Stevens arrested a man outside 101 S. 11th St. who was wanted on a bench warrant for failure to appear for court. The 39-year-old suspect with a South Philadelphia address was charged with contempt of court. — At 8:55 p.m. Nov. 29, someone took the tip jar from the counter of Capogiro, 119 S. 13th St., and fled with the manager in pursuit. Sixth District plainclothes Officers Calhoun and Kovach responded a the 911 call and apprehended the suspect at 1200 Sansom St. after he allegedly discarded the jar, which was returned to the store. The 22-year-old suspect with a South Philadelphia address was charged with theft. — At 8:35 p.m. Nov. 30, 6th District Officers Butler and Burrell arrested three males for prowling in the rear of an apartment building in the 1300 block of Waverly Street. — At 8:25 p.m. Dec. 1, 6th District plainclothes Officers Ferrero and Hill observed a male at the ATM at 1226 Walnut St. with two other males behind him, who were yelling at him to get money. The males were stopped and found to have the intoxicated complainant’s credit cards and wallet in their possession. A 36-year-old suspect with a Newark, Del., address and a 21-year-old suspect with a New York City address were charged with robbery and related offenses.
SUMMARY ARRESTS — On Nov. 28, 6th District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 1:10 a.m. outside 201 S. Broad St., at 10:30 p.m. outside 110 S. 13th St. and at 11:20 p.m. outside 1300 Walnut St. — At 10:35 a.m. Nov. 29, 6th District officers issued two citations for summary offenses outside 200 S. Juniper St. — On Nov. 30, 6th District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 7:45 p.m. outside 1300 Chestnut St., and at 10:50 and 11:15 p.m. outside 1200 Locust St. — On Dec. 1, 6th District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 11:05 a.m. outside 1322 Locust St., at 6:40 p.m. outside 233 S. 13th St. and 7:55 p.m. outside 200 S. Camac St. — At 5 p.m. Dec. 2, 6th District officers issued a citation for a summary offense outside 1320 Walnut St.
