Temple University’s School of Media and Communication presented out CNN anchor Anderson Cooper with its annual Law Klein Excellence in Media Award Oct. 17. Cooper, the host of “Anderson Cooper 360” and host and executive producer of “Anderson Live,” came out publicly earlier this year and has devoted considerable airtime to covering LGBT issues.
