Doors open at 8 p.m. with an open bar until 10 p.m. There is no cover charge for the grand-opening celebration. “Ultra” after-parties will be held at Denim Lounge, 1712 Walnut St.

William Way LGBT Community Center
This fall, the William Way LGBT Community Center, 1315 Spruce St., has an array of programming for the diverse local LGBT community.
Way Gay U launches this month with classes ranging from Queer Tango to Legal Name Change 101, and an assortment of other hands-on courses that will help you develop new skills and meet other members of the local community.
On Oct. 15, the center will launch its highly anticipated archival exhibit, “Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals: 1933-1945.” The display, compiled by the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, will feature 32 freestanding panels documenting the Nazi ideology of persecution.
