What are your plans for your old age?

Jason Javie
attorney | Point Breeze
“I’m investing my money wisely. I have people who help me with that. I wouldn’t want to be a burden on my family or friends. I would go to an assisted-living facility before burdening my family. Preferably, I’ll be able to live independently until the day I die. I was raised to take care of myself. And I’ve always been a hard worker.”

William Horrocks
live-events producer | Point Breeze
“I’m counting on my wife to help me survive through old age. We’re very much in love. I can’t envision living without her. That would be terrible. She’s young and successful. I know she’ll be there for me, if I should need her support.”

Clint Williamson
graduate student | South Philadelphia
“I’m cultivating a bevy of friends and relatives. By the time I reach my golden years, I hope to have a support network in place to sustain me. It would be along the lines of a ‘Golden Girls’-style community adventure. We would all live in an old Victorian home. Ideally, many people would participate.”
