"Mazzu Picchu. The geography is beautiful, and the climate is great in the winter. You’ll have a wonderful time explor-ing ancient ruins. The Amazon Rain Forest is nearby. That’s an added attraction. You’ll get to see magnificent wildlife."

"Orlando, Fla. It’s always warm down there. I would recommend visiting Universal Studios. It’s a giant theme park with neat amusement-type rides. What’s really cool is that each ride has a movie theme. My favorite was ‘Twister.’ It was a unique experience."

"Hawaii. The sheer beautify of it is overwhelm-ing, so different from Philadelphia. The water is crystal-clear. Everyone kisses you on both cheeks, then puts a lei around your neck. You feel like a queen."

"Venice Beach, Calif. It never gets below 62 degrees. The mountains are spectacular. It’s a very peaceful and serene setting. I go there to renew my spirit. It’s a good winter getaway."
