    Two Powerhouse Women of Comedy

    Out comedians Karen Williams, a comedy writer and former TV host, and Michele Balan, finalist on “Last Comic Standing,” will be sure to bring the laughs.

     

    Well-Strung

    The all-male string quartet, seen by local audiences at Philly Pride last year, presents its unique fusion of classic and pop music.

     

    May 16 

    New Hope Celebrates Pride Parade

    11:30 a.m.

    The annual parade kicks off on the Lambertville side of the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge and proceeds into New Hope, featuring floats, bands, community organizations and more.

     

    Rock the Block Party and Vendor Fair

    1-5 p.m.

    Bucks County Playhouse,

    70 S. Main St.

    Artisans, merchants, community organizations and more will set up shop outside the playhouse to offer goods, resources and networking opportunities, while performers such as Jason Walker, Eryn Woods, Christine Martucci, Josh Zuckerman and headliner Antigone Rising take the stage.

    The annual dance party and New Hope Celebrates fundraiser returns with DJ Eddie Martinez and a performance by Jason Walker.

    Ladies 2000

    The official women’s party winds down the weekend, with part of the proceeds benefitting New Hope Celebrates.

     

    Rainbow T Dance

    4-9 p.m.

    The Raven, 385 W. Bridge St.

    Drag performer Thunder Showers hosts, and DJ Luis Perez spins, at this New Hope Celebrates fundraising party.
