Gayborhood Crime Watch: March 2-8, 2015

INCIDENTS

— Between 9:30 a.m.-6:45 p.m. March 2, someone entered an apartment in the 1100 block of Walnut Street, possibly by jimmying the door, and stole laptops and jewelry.  Sixth District Officer Minnis attempted to lift fingerprints.

NON-SUMMARY ARRESTS

— At 9:40 a.m. March 3, Sixth District plainclothes Officers Grant and Ferrero observed a male steal an unattended bicycle from outside 200 S. Juniper St. The 52-year-old suspect with a homeless-shelter address was charged with theft.

— At 1:30 p.m. March 5, Sixth District Officers Ferrero and Grant arrested a female outside 1100 Pine St. who was wanted for failure to appear in court. The 34-year-old suspect with a Frankford address was charged with contempt of court.

— At 11:30 a.m. March 7, Sixth District plainclothes Officers Grant and Ferrero observed a male steal an unattended bicycle from outside 208 S. Juniper St. The 23-year-old suspect with a Francisville address was charged with theft.

SUMMARY ARRESTS

— At 9:40 p.m. March 2, Sixth District officers issued a citation for a summary offense inside 21 N. Juniper St.

— At 1:45 a.m. March 4, Sixth District officers issued a citation for a summary offense outside 1307 Locust St.

— At 11 a.m. March 5, Sixth District officers issued a citation for a summary offense outside 1339 Chestnut St.

— On March 7, Sixth District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 12:30 a.m. outside 200 S. 12th St. and 3:45 a.m. outside 800 Walnut St.
