INCIDENTS — At 11:40 a.m. March 5, a man snatched a woman’s wallet from her hand while she was at 11th and Locust streets. The suspect fled south on 11th Street and was described as a white male in his 20s, 5-foot-8, thin with dark hair, wearing a gray sweatsuit and a black baseball cap. — Between 8 p.m. March 8 and 10:30 a.m. March 9, someone broke the window of a residence in the 300 block of South Camac Street and stole a flat-screen television. Sixth District Officer Winckler lifted fingerprints. — Between 7-9:45 p.m. March 9, someone stole a large sum of cash and a cell phone from an unlocked 2002 Volvo that was parked in a lot in the 1100 block of Clover Street. Sixth District Officer Minnis and Central Detectives on scene lifted fingerprints. — Between 9-9:20 p.m. March 10, someone stole an unsecured bicycle from outside 1133 Lombard St.

NON-SUMMARY ARRESTS — At 4:50 p.m. March 6, SEPTA police arrested a male outside 1100 Market St. who was wanted on a bench warrant for failure to appear for court. The 31-year-old suspect with a Sicklerville, N.J., address was charged with contempt of court. — At 12:20 p.m. March 7, SEPTA police arrested a male outside 801 Market St. who was wanted on a bench warrant for failure to appear for court. The 34-year-old suspect with a North Philadelphia address was charged with contempt of court. — On March 7, 6th District plainclothes officers made four arrests for prostitution, at 8:10 p.m. and 8:35 p.m. outside 1200 Locust St., at 8:40 p.m. outside 300 S. 12th St. and at 9:05 p.m. outside 200 S. 12th St. — At 4:20 p.m. March 8, 6th District plainclothes Officers Calhoun and Kovach observed a male outside 27 S. 11th St. take money from a pedestrian to play the “shell game” he had set up on the sidewalk. As the officers approached, a lookout yelled “cops” and the suspect attempted to flee, but was quickly apprehended. The game pieces and cash were recovered. The 47-year-old suspect with a West Philadelphia address was charged with gambling and related offenses. — At 8:20 p.m. March 8, 6th District Officers Butler and Burrell saw a brawl on the 1200 block of Chancellor Street. A complainant suffered a possible broken ankle, and a suspect was arrested and charged with domestic assault. — At 1:45 a.m. March 9, 6th District Officers Haberle and Stone responded to a 911 call and observed two males spraypainting a wall in the rear of a building in the 1000 block of Spruce Street. The 20-year-old suspect with a local address and a 25-year-old suspect with a Chinatown address were charged with criminal mischief and related offenses. — At 7:50 a.m. March 9, 6th District Officer McQue arrested a male outside 1234 Locust St. who was wanted on a bench warrant for failure to appear for court. The 23-year-old suspect with a Bridgeton, N.J., address was charged with contempt of court.

SUMMARY ARRESTS — On March 5, 6th District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 8:15 p.m. outside 1201 Chestnut St., at 8:30 p.m. outside Broad and Chestnut streets, at 9:30 p.m. at 248 S. 12th St. and at 11:50 p.m. outside 1200 Chancellor St. — On March 6, 6th District officers issued citations for summary offenses at 8:05 p.m. outside 1302 Walnut St., at 8:40 p.m. outside 1327 Spruce St., at 8:50 p.m. outside 1301 Chestnut St., at 9:15 p.m. outside 1335 Walnut St. and at 10 p.m. outside 1300 Walnut St. — At 11:40 p.m. March 8, 6th District officers issued two citations for summary offenses outside 1203 Locust St. — On March 9, 6th District officers issued a citation for a summary offense at 7:20 p.m. outside 1000 Market St. and at 9:25 p.m. outside 200 S. 13th St.
