“I’d support a mini-bocott. I do like Hershey’s chocolates. I couldn’t stop eating them indefinitely. But I’d do a mini-boycott for a limited period of time. Especially when I’m feeling socially conscious. It’s absolutely wrong to deny admittance to the young man.”

“No. Let the students boycott the school, if they feel that’s appropriate. I think it should be a local effort, not something spearheaded by outsiders. Personally, I love Hershey Cookies ‘n’ Creme candy bars. I can’t stop buying them.”

“I wouldn’t force a boycott on anyone. It’s a personal preference as to whether or not people participate. I personally feel it’s unfair what they did to the boy. I’ll try to avoid Hershey chocolates in the future. But it would be a sacrifice for me.” “I wouldn’t force a boycott on anyone. It’s a personal preference as to whether or not people participate. “No. The activists should find a way of protesting that doesn’t harm the current students. I fully support the right of the HIV-positive student to attend the school. But boycotting Hershey could hurt the other students. The activists should find a different way of attracting attention to the issue.”
