AIDS law fundraiser
The AIDS Law Project of Pennsylvania will host a fundraising drag event and dinner from 6-8:30 p. m. May 12 at Vintage Instruments, 507 S. Broad St.
“One Divine Night” will feature food and drinks, along with WMMR’s Pierre Robert and the Captivating Queens of Illusion.

Share bullying stories
The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights will host a hearing next month on the enforcement of anti-bullying laws, and LGBT community members are encouraged to submit written testimony to be entered into the record.
The May 13 hearing will address issues of bullying based on a number of factors, including sexual orientation and gender identity, and the need for strict enforcement of anti-bullying measures.
Letters detailing personal experiences with student bullying can be sent to Roberta Achtenberg at [email protected].
QOTA to benefit FIGHT
The monthly LGBT social Queers on the Avenue next week will benefit HIV/AIDS service organization Philadelphia FIGHT.
QOTA will be held from 6-9 p.m. May 10 at Le Virtu, 1927 E. Passyunk Ave.
The event will feature drink and food specials, with a portion of the tab being donated to FIGHT.
