Louise Chernin, executive director of the Greater Seattle Business Association, the largest LGBT chamber of commerce in the country, was the featured speaker during Independence Business Alliance’s annual meeting June 22 at the Sofitel Philadelphia. The meeting drew about 150 people, including about 80 percent of the organization’s membership and special guests like Mayor Nutter and former Pennsylvania governor and president and CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Mark Schweiker.
