Actress Fran Drescher, best known for her role as Ms. Fine on “The Nanny” will be given the Ally for Equality Award at the 2010 Human Rights Campaign Palm Springs Garden Party on November 6th.

Drescher recently appeared in a TV ad supporting marriage equality in New York.

“With a voice like this, you know I got to be a New Yorker. But I’m also an American. And to me that means justice and equality and liberty for everyone.”
