“Yes. Maine is a pretty liberal state. Gay marriage lost in California partly because of the Republican governor there. He wasn’t very supportive. I think he was one of the negative influences on voters. But in Maine it’s different. The governor is a Democrat. So I’m optimistic gay marriage will survive.”
