“The few .. the proud .. the Marines” but not in this case.

Two Marine buddies, who the victim said one of them told him he demanded respect because he served in Iraq, yelled anti-gay slurs and one hit a gay man in the back of the head in Savannah, GA during the wee hours of Saturday morning, to the extent he lay unconscious in the street, suffered two seizures and is now hospitalized with bruises to his brain. Friends who were with 26 year-old Keran Daly had to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

The two who have disgraced the Marine Corps are Keil Joseph Cronauer, 22 and Christopher Charles Stanzel, 23, both stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, S.C. according to Savannah-Chatham police.

After being caught these two wimpy pussies told police they were being harassed by a gay man and wanted to get away from him. Really ? So why didn’t they walk away from the mean old faggot ? Not to mention striking the victim while his back was turned, now that’s a real brave he-man act. Wonder how many Iraqis he shot in the back ? Witnesses at the scene said the pussified Marines grew angry because they thought Daly was “winking’ at them. That’s right, a supposed “wink”, which never happened, brought about a sucker punch so bad that CPR was needed to revive Daly.

But this story gets better folks, the two were jailed and later released to Military Police, but were only booked on misdemeanor battery charges. You read correctly, misdemeanor. And as Georgia has no “hate crimes law” that could very well be all they’ll be charged with as far as civilian law goes.  Jesse Morgan, president of the Gay-Straight Alliance at Armstrong State Atlantic University, told the Savannah Morning News, the incident was only one example of what gay Savannahians experience every day. “We can’t even walk on the street and be out and gay on the street,” Morgan said. “Our punishment for that is anyone attacking us just for being who we are. This type of behavior has to stop.”

Let’s hope the Marine Corps has some balls and brings these two ball-less assholes up on charges and then gives them dishonorable discharges. They should as they are anything but fine examples of the Marine Corps, but I’m not holding my breath. You can read the story from the Savannah Morning News and see photos of the two scumbags.
